You can rent and ride a bicycle from the Alexandria Waterfront (One Wales Alley, Old Town Waterfront) to George Washington’s magnificent Mt. Vernon. You must make a reservation to secure your bike (202.842.2453).
Starting Memorial Day Weekend, if you don’t want to ride both ways, Fleet will bring you back to Old Town from Mt. Vernon. Keep on eye right here for more information about these great summer tours, and hint…hint….there will be a boat option, too!
